Hi Im David, you have checked power at the pump?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I'm sort of stuck on the side of the road an unfortunately don't have my tools with me, but I can hear the pump turning on when I first turn the key
Expert:  david craig replied 5 months ago.

and what make you think its a weak pump?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
The sound when the car first starts up is a lot quieter than usual. Usually it's a real high pitched sound and is quiet loud
Expert:  david craig replied 5 months ago.

is there a difference in the sound the fuel pump makes from before? when the key is in the run position?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
It has a lower pitch
