JA: How many miles are on the car? Is it an automatic or a manual transmission?

JA: What is the model/year of your Mitsubishi?

JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes I checked for power to resistor, blue wire is hot I have power to the motor plug the blue and yellow wire has power at plug
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

lancer 2.4L auto, I also tested the plug turning the blower switch on and off which showed me that there was power to the switch when it was turned on. When the plug was plugged into the motor my test light was hot on both the blue and yellow wires.

Check that the motor turns when applying battery power between the connector terminals. Also check to see that there is no abnormal sound emitted
from the motor at this time
