Welcome, I'm Chris (aka Moose) I prefer to work when others don't, I am here around lunch and after dinner till after midnight.

Your vehicle does not use a carburetor. Are you referring to the throttle body?

When it fails, what does the vehicle not do correct?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
No one has called it that. It loses all power while driving - choking down sort of
Expert:  Chris (aka- Moose) replied 6 months ago.

What must you do to regain power so you can continue driving or is the vehicle never drive able?

Are there warning lights on while running and are there codes stored?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Warning sign brake basically everything and it chokes down - as I've said I had it worked on to get it running again numerous time - bad carborator, battery not receiving power and seals put somewhere but the fix never lasts

It appears there are multiple issues. battery not receiving power are you saying the alternator is not charging the battery ?

What seals were replaced?

When scanned which trouble codes are stored?

Is there exhaust smoke while driving?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
It seems I've missed named the part. the alternator is what I've been replacing - it didn't hold so they worked on seals -
Now they are saying it was the front seals they replaced before and now they have to replace other seals

Are you hoping to diagnose this yourself with a volt meter?

What brand alternator has been installed?

I assume you are saying the engine also leaks oil from seals?

Can you clearly write out what answer you are needing from me?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
I will gather my service documents and possibly get back with you or a mechanic. Thank you for your responses
