Our 2014 mirage floor floods with water. It's not coming in

Customer Question

Our 2014 mirage floor floods with water. It's not coming in from windows, roof, etc. ... Is it the air conditioning because the hot weather arrived and the ac went on .over and over 1in deep water ends up on rear floor. The front carpet gets soaked. .... Both events always much worse on passenger side of the car.

Hi Andrew,

Can you look up under the dash for an A/C drain tube dislogded by passengers feet?

Quite common with many cars.

If the tubing is all fitted the drain tube could be blocked with tiny leaves etc.

Can you then check how much water is dripping under the car while A/C is running?

I found the tube, it was dislodged, I connected it to a " drain " located behind a " plastic housing", hopefully it is a fix. Thank you. Will keep an eye on it.

That's great news.

Now all the water should run out under the car, most might be evaporated by the hot exhaust system.

I hope my advice has been of assistance to you.

Kind regards
