sounds like the resistor has went bad i would replace it before you put a new blower motor in

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
where is that resistor? under the glove box.
Oh and I forgot to mention, there is water backed up into the floor from the condensor.
I need to open up that relief piping to let the backed up water out. do you think that shorted out the resistor?
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
OK found location of resistor.
I also was able to drain the water and reamed out the drain plug. Lots of water came out.
After 3 hours of watching water come out, I replace the old resistor and it was definitely rusted and loaded with leaves and pine needles.
I tried the blower and still no go.
What's the next step?
replace the blower?
Please let me know
thx

Hello, I replaced with new blower, but it doesn't seem to be as strong as OEM blower.
could I have the negative and positive wires reversed?
There is a RED(+) and Black (-) on wires coming out of blower.
I attached Red (+) to the Black-white wire and the Black (-) to the Black wire off of harness.
Is this correct?
thx
