Check for malfunction codes .may have codes that will lead you to the problem .
Most common for this issue on your car is a bad or dirty MAF sensor ,cam / crank sensor malfunction .

MAF sensor is on the airfilter box .
Crank sensor is under the timing belt plastic cover on the crankshaft sprocket .attachment .
Cam sensor is on the side rear of the cylinder head on the transmission side . 2nd attachment (I)
