Hello. My name is ***** ***** I will be helping you today.

Any chance you could give me a picture of what youre talking about?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
Attached is pictures of the parts.
Customer: replied 5 months ago.
They came from the right had side near the ignition as I was putting the plastic cover back on.
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 5 months ago.

And where did that come from?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I fixed the ignition switch (on left side), as I was putting the steering column cover back on, the pictured pieces fell from the right side. I must have knocked them loose with the plastic cover.
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 5 months ago.

Hmm. Im not really sure. Did you pull the cover back down and see if you could tell where it came from?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
on the ignition is a piece of plastic the same color as in photo so im assuming it came from there
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 5 months ago.

Can you give me a picture of that?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
it would take a few moments,
as I would have to take the steering column cover off again
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 5 months ago.

Im in no rush. Id rather have as much information as possible and give you the right answer than try to rush through and guess.

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
i meant when the pieces fell off i put steering cover back on and drove home like normal and contacted you guys
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 5 months ago.

Can you get a picture of the inside of the switch on the column?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
the ignition switch?
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 5 months ago.

The switch those two pieces came out of.

Ive never had one come apart but if I can see the inside I imagine Ill be able to tell you how to put it back together.

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I cannot get any further inside the steering column, I learned how to fix ignition switch because someone else had same issue and it seemed to be simple, the only issue i had was when i went to put cover back onto steering column, that piece has a spring i have no idea where it goes or what position, and i cant see the opposite side of Key (ignition)
Expert:  Wayne Crawford replied 5 months ago.

I think its best if I opt out here. That is a part of a part vs just being a part and I dont recognize it. Ive never had that happen. Ill opt out and see if someone else has ran across it before.
