Mitsubishi Montero: I am middle of replacing front wheel bearing

Customer Question

I am middle of replacing front wheel bearing hub for Montero 2001. I removed brake braket. Now I am facing a problem. How do I unscrew those forur bolts when there is no room. They are stucked by something I don't know what to call.

Have you removed the axle nut yet so you can push the axle in slightly? This gains you a little bit more room around the hub bolts.

Yes, I did I. How do push the axle?
Expert:  Doug replied 1 year ago.
If the axle is free, you should be able to tap it with a mallet and it will slide inward a small amount. Not a lot, but usually enough to help.
Will the axle not move at all in the hub? If not, have you tried spraying some lubricant on it where it goes through?
