blow throw hose to valve but seems to be the same on passenger side as i can't blow through either side. washer delivers fluid to the hood for both sides just not out of driver side unit.
Hi,It sounds like the valve is jammed up. While you can sometimes free these up by using compressed air through the hose, it is not always a sure thing. Blowing with your mouth will not do anything however... you simply can't generate enough pressure to do anything, which is why you have no result from the working side either. If you are unable to free the valve with compressed air (shop air, 90psi, etc), then you will need to replace the valve. Unhook the hose from the splitter then pop the valve out of the hood. It has a lip on one end and a spring-like lever on the opposite end. use a flat edge screwdriver to push the spring like lever inward then tip the valve out of the hood. Some people will pry it out from the top but I do NOT recommend this. While it does work, you are at high risk of damaging the paint or bending the sheet metal.
