I noticed that there is a pretty hefty rubber boot on the wiring location between door and body of the car. i've contemplated pulling one end out to check wiring but was a little nervous of the stress it would cause in the wiring bundle.
I checked conitinuity and it is functioning correctly, in the lock position it read around 7 ohms, unlock seemed to be slightly less. i noticed with the wiring disconnected the keyless entry seemed to function correctly. probably due to the bad connection being the issue.
