I'm looking for a military lawyer that handle childbirth cases. I lost my baby while on active duty in 2005. I never receive any type of assistance during this time. No counseling, nothing, me nor the father and we both were active duty at the time.
JA: Because laws vary from state to state, could you tell me what state is this in?
Customer: Virginia. We were both stationed at Fort Story, VA. But I returned home with an Honorable Discharge
under AR 635-200, CHAP 8, Pregnancy
JA: Have you talked to a lawyer yet?
Customer: No. I have been inform from other Veterans that I need to seek one and that's what I'm trying to do. I went to the VA Clinic in Baton Rouge, LA and I have been denied services. They told me that I couldn't even get an ID card which I didn't understand because I'm a veteran and had my DD 214 present. I only went there once and they interviewed me about the pregnancy loss and this when I received all the bad news.
JA: Anything else you think the lawyer should know?
Customer: There's a lot I would like to explain about the interview that I had but it's too much to type and I would like to speak with them about it.
