I've always been curious, but never bothered to pursue the question; do i qualify for military benefits. I enlisted in the marine corp and was schedule to be ship out at the end of June in 87. A few months prior to being ship for basic training, i had a accident that disqualified me for enlistment, but no one from the military ever came to evaluate me. Do i quality for any military benefits?

No, you would not. You never actually served in any capacity to merit coverage for any service connected injury. You didn't serve at all, for the purposes of any of the longevity rights, like the GI Bill.
Experience: Lawyer and current JAG officer.
