I am trying use Outlook to manage 2 different gmail mail

I am trying use Outlook to manage 2 different gmail mail addresses. One works well and displays the email corrrectly. the other email address displays a dialogue stating that Outlook "...could not find anything to display" even though there is mail in t he gmail mailbox. Any suggestions?
