I sorted by date my excel spreadsheet and now the date

Customer Question

I sorted by date my excel spreadsheet and now the date column does not match up with the description column. The doc has been saved, can I pull an earlier version up through my document history? I didn't "save as" on each version before I added more data to my document, however I have a photo copy before of the version that is still good.

Hi, I'm Robert and I'll be helping you with your computer question.

you won't be able to pull up a different version through the history

you might be able to get it back by clicking the undo button

other than that what you probably did was sort only a portion of the spreadsheet

maybe just the date column itself

you can't unsort it but if you knew what it was sorted on before you might be able to resort only that portion to that way so it matches up again
