I write multiple documents with a lot of pictures (photos)

Customer Question

I write multiple long documents with a lot of pictures (photos) inserted from another document on a page. Sometimes its photos of 3 people, sometimes as much as 8. Its always the same page. I'm having trouble getting them to be the same size and to keep them spaced nicely on the page. The caption underneath is a text box. Is there a better way to do this like having some sort of frames to insert the pictures into?
JA: What kind of computer do you have?
Customer: At work I have a PC. I'm at home on a Mac, but I need PC info.
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: IT takes care of that, but I think we have either the latest or second to latest version of Word

Hi, I'm Robert and I'll be helping you with your computer question.

Yes that is exactly the way to do it

You insert a frame first and then put the picture in the frame and it will size the picture to the frame

But modern versions of word don't put the frame button anywhere convenient

This post should tell you how to get it on a ribbon where it can be used easily
