I am using WIndows 10 and Publisher 2016. When I try and print it tells me that the program cannot complete the operation. I can print from Word and Excel and other non-Microsoft programs with no problem - I am using a Brother MFC9340CDW printer

Customer: It is a n HP Envy desktop I cannot see the exact model

Hi,

Let's try a few things - Windows 10 doesn't like older printers, although a newer model the drivers are usually not updated.

  1. Does this happen on all publisher documents?
  2. Does the printer appear to be grayed out when you print to it?
