I have to take printed copies into a building and audit the data in each row I need the row number printed as the 1st column to keep track of the audit process. I have not been able because the current line numbers are not a integral part of sheet and doesn't print.

Expert:  Cody replied 10 months ago.

yes

you can insert a new column with this formula =ROW()

or you can go to page layout and check the box Print under headings (note this will print column and row numbers)

Expert:  Cody replied 10 months ago.

see attached file with the formula =ROW()
