To enable this in office 365 please do the following
Sign in to Office 365
In Office 365, select Admin. Or, select the app launcher Office 365 app launcher icon , and then select Admin.
Go to Service settings > Email, calendar, and contacts.
Then to turn on LinkedIn contact sync to let people set up a connection with LinkedIn.
They will then be added

I contacted microsoft you can't use the social contectors in the personal version you need the business version or be on 2013.
