### Customer Question

I need to return a certain value based on another cell.
On a specific product, I get paid a certain amount based on the product.
1 Product A & B pays me : \$500
1 Product C & D pays me : \$1000
1 Product E pays me: \$1500
I'm trying to calculate how many of each product I would need to sell in order to hit my income goal, which is in another cell.
For example:
There should be a total of three rows representing the products ( A&B, C&D, E) that demonstrates the quanity I need to sell to hit the goal.
If my income goal is \$1000, then the row with A&B product should show a value of 2, C&D should show value of 1, and Product E should also show a value of 1.
How can I accomplish this? :)

This should be fairly simple

please send an example file with a few rows of data filled in.

if you are unable to send the sheet I can offer remote assistance for an additional fee, which of course is entirely optional if you decide to do it

i sent an additional service offer for remote service incase you decide you want that option. if not I will be happy to communicate with you here

I've added my comp calculator. The products are the ABF products on the right hand side, the value they're measured up against is the "delta"

so given the value in cell H1 on sheet 1, you want to see how many times each value in sheet 2 column C goes into it?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
I just need to know how many of each product I need to sale based on what is in H1.

its very simple all you have to do is

=Sheet1!\$H\$1/C2

you have to change the cell number type to general

then just copy and paste this formula to any other cell you need it.
