I am working in Word 2010. In my word document I Hyperlinked

Customer Question

I am working in Word 2010. In my word document I Hyperlinked several different text statements and each are independently linked to a different pdf file on my computer. I am emailing to several people who are not in my network and we do not share a network. I have tried uploading the files to OneDrive but the Hyperlink breaks when I email. The document will have approximately 25 separate links. An example would be Hi, all, upon review of John's resume I agree. The text John's resume would be hyperlinked to his resume on my computer.

I do not want to secure connect to the computer. Isn't there another way
Expert:  Cody replied 1 year ago.

the links are not going to work when they are linked to your computer

You will have to upload them to a site where everyone can access them. Example being onedrive, Google Docs, Dropbox... etc.

The links shouldn't' break if you attach the word document to the email.

Can you attach it here so I can show you an example.

I will be sending an email. I have a word document, sample attached, I would prefer to pdf it. I have 3 sample attachment which I want to hyperlink/embed into the word/pdf letter. The recipient's all are from different companies and will not be allowed to put in a password ***** a link to access my document. This will be an executive business letter and they won't want to be bother with clicking and accepting different links. I tried putting the files into Onedrive but the recipients had to join onedrive and the companies IT dept won't allow it.

Do you have a website that you may be able to upload these files to?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Have you made any progress?

Do you have a website that you may be able to upload these files to?

otherwise you could have every pdf inside the Word document where it would link them to the page number.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I previously stated I don't have a website. What are other options?
Expert:  Cody replied 1 year ago.

You would have to link them all within the same word file, as nothing else is an option as you can't publish them to the Internet.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
How do I do that?
Once done can I email the letter out and everyone and the Hyperlink will work?
Expert:  Cody replied 1 year ago.

It'll be like example goes to page 34 which is where X resume is at.

Expert:  Cody replied 1 year ago.

would this work for you?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
When I click on example the link does not work.
It says DNA address could not be found
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
DNS address could not be
found
Expert:  Cody replied 1 year ago.

That's not supposed to work.

It would be an embeded link in Word that takes you to page 67 for example which would list their resume.
