Customer Question

i am responsible for ordering uniforms for my baseball team. I am trying to come up with a spreadsheet that will calculate all my youth small shirts, youth medium shirts youth large etc... what im trying to figure out is if there is a formula that every time a YS is input it would tally up a total at the bottom?

lets say you have your YS in column A. from rows 2 to 200

your formula would look like this

=COUNTIF(A2:A200,"YS")

of course you can change the value in the quotes to be whatever you want to get a quantity of. It just has to match one of the values in the cells you are trying to count

I type in that formula but it didn't work
Expert:  The-PC-Guy replied 1 year ago.

i just assumed those were the values in your file, you didn't really provide any info as to where stuff was located.

can you send your file?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Where would i send u the file
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Would that 26 be and additional amount?
Expert:  The-PC-Guy replied 1 year ago.

not sure what you mean by 26?

if you look at the top of the text box where you type information you should see a paperclip icon use that to send the file

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Is this going to cost me an additional 26$
Expert:  The-PC-Guy replied 1 year ago.

no, why would it be additional. I do not know what you are refering too. I am just a consultant, as far as I know the price was set when the question was asked
