Very simple question i am typing text in publisher or word

Customer Question

very simple question
i am typing text in publisher or word i.e.
Art Center $ 100,000
Sand area 100,000
Court 50,000
I am finding that even though I use the tab my numbers are not lining up as they should down the page .. i.e. see how the 50,000 isn't lining up evenly above. I do not want to use columns.
How do i do this?

Within Word you can create new tabs whether it be by left, right or decimal.

Can you attach the file you're working on here?

i am working on a publisher file and it won't let upload that type of file
Expert:  Cody replied 1 year ago.

see attached picture

go to home --> paragraph --> drop down menu under line spacing --> line spacing options --> Tabs

From there you can insert tabs based on right left center.. decimal etc.

that i know for the future, can you tell me where specifically in the document i can see that .. just so i know what to do next timethanks
Expert:  Cody replied 1 year ago.

see attached picture, I circled both locations where it shows the alignment.

The one on the left you can click on to move from right, left center.. etc.

Then you just left click anywhere on the horizontal ruler to place the tab.

To get the tabs to show up. (in picture red circle on left) you have to do the below first.

go to home --> paragraph --> drop down menu under line spacing --> line spacing options --> Tabs
