Hi there and welcome
Sorry I see nothing attached. Can you attach the file to this question please and I can then look at it for you.
I now see it.
It appears the spreadsheet was made in China, and the characters that appear as boxes are not installed on your computer or supported.
Is the problem with only this one sheet?
where did the sheets come from?
And did it happen all of a sudden? Or from the start?
ok, they are going to be using characters not installed on your computer
Can you ask them which language pack they are using on their computer please
Hi there, it was 24 hours before you replied and I was not online.
Have them send you a working version of the file again, as it then looks to be corrupted.
Tell me if you get the issue on the secondccopy.
Provide me the sheet and I will check it
Attach it to this question please
ok, its different to your screenshot, which cell has the issue?
No, all looks correct
Which version of office do you have?
ok, the issue points to the excel version for mac, you need to use it on a windows version of Excel which allows for the characters your missing, this is why your missing them, it has to be done on the windows version.
