I have a SharePoint site for resources, I would like to show my calendar on the homepage so they can see my schedule, how do i show my calendar on a SharePoint site?

On the top SharePoint page Ribbon, click on Page, Edit
Click on the INSERT tab on the Ribbon, then click App Part
Change the Add part to area if you have more than 1 area on the page.
Choose Calendar from the list and click the Add button on the right side.
Click on the Page tab on the Ribbon, and click Save

You can further customize the web part by then clicking on the top bar of the calendar and choose Web Part, Web Part Properties.

Change the view, size, and appearance.

Hi Wes,That is what i had already done, what i want to do is share my calendar on the SharePoint site. The calendar i use on a daily basis, I tried sharing it and entering the share link but it didn't work. I've seen it done before but i can't figure out how to do it.

The way it's done is to open the Calendar and link it from SharePoint to your Outlook Calendar. This will use the SharePoint calendar in your Outlook and you can edit it there. Let me know if that is what you meant.

Open the SharePoint page with the Calendar, then click on the Calendar Title.

On the top ribbon, click Calendar, and click Connect to Outlook

This will allow you to link the calendar to outlook and sync it.

Hello,Thanks for getting that to me... Unfortunately all that did was bring the blank calendar was put next to my calendar not the other way around ... and when I scheduled an event from outlook, nothing showed up on sharepoint?

The SharePoint calendar is now linked to your Outlook. You will need to add events to that calendar and they will show in SharePoint.

Due to security, having your personal Outlook Calendar requires authentication to "read" the calendar and will not work.
