ID is 421390

This file has only one value which is 7878-2000-00?

Is this the correct file?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

YES !

How would you like this to appear on the sheet?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Yes and show the proper formula

Peter,

I need more details.

What exactly do you want to extract form this number?

7878-2000-0

Do you want to filter out 2000 in a separate column?

That is what I am trying to do. I need to know the proper formula to do it

There is no formula, it is very easy to do.

Select the column with the values:

Eg: if column is B, click on B to select entire column.

Then Click on the Data tab from the top menu,

Click Text to Column

Select Delimited

Click Next

Place a check on Other and in the box, type -

Click Next

Click Finish

It will separate the values into different columns.

Hope this helps.

And if you can take a second to rate my service, that will be appreciated.

Thanks
