The-PC-Guy :

Thanks for using JustAnswer. My name is Andrew, I will do whatever I can to answer your question

The-PC-Guy :

would it be possible for me to get a copy of your sheet?

Customer :

hi

Customer :

yes

Customer :

hello?

Customer :

are you still there

Customer :

I was about to attach the document

Customer :

please confirm you are still there so I may attach the sheet

Customer :

hello?

The-PC-Guy :

got disconected

The-PC-Guy :

please try to attach the sheet

Customer :

okay

Customer :
The-PC-Guy :

give me a minute to take a look at that

The-PC-Guy :

i have the sheet open

Customer :

so to elaborate a bit more on my question, I'm trying to find out which accts were reported more than 30 days from the "activity date) column B. The column that can give us this answer is column I, however I am struggling to do this. You know which accounts were reported because they have an "XF" in column G and a "1" in column H.

The-PC-Guy :

ok

The-PC-Guy :

are we using the current date

The-PC-Guy :

as in todays date

Customer :

no

The-PC-Guy :

in relation to the date in column B

Customer :

no, the relation between dates should be between column B and column E ... column E is the date we reported the status of the account based on the activity received (column B)

The-PC-Guy :

ok

The-PC-Guy :

i think i got you

Customer :

column I gives you a count form the activity date (column B) which is the same per individual account-- up to the date the XF was coded and reported (column E)

Customer :

from*

The-PC-Guy :

so I will do the formula for I

Customer :

yes, i think thats where you should start

The-PC-Guy :

which is just

The-PC-Guy :

=E2 - B2

The-PC-Guy :

so that gives us the number of days

The-PC-Guy :

but there was something else you wanted

The-PC-Guy :

which is the next part of this

The-PC-Guy :

so once we have the number of days?

The-PC-Guy :

what did you need next?

Customer :

well thats the thing we already have the number of days that is already column I

Customer :

for example looking at row 2

The-PC-Guy :

yes

The-PC-Guy :

i just created a formula that did that

The-PC-Guy :

so now I am confused

Customer :

can you talk over the phone?

The-PC-Guy :

sorry, they do not let us do that

Customer :

no worries

Customer :

let me try to explain better

The-PC-Guy :

you just want to know which accounts are 30 days

Customer :

im going to send you a smaller data set to work with

Customer :
Customer :

let me know when you open it

Customer :

okay you see in column a, I gave you only 4 individual accounts. now these individual accounts received reporting once a month per the (HDAUDDT) date which is column E

The-PC-Guy :

i have the new file open

Customer :

we reported the activity received on column B .. the activity received is the Pcode 1 column, that is the activity being reported. however what I am trying to identify is: from the date that we received the pcode 1 did it take us more than 30 days to report that status in column E?

Customer :

column I is giving us the answer, however I am struggling in putting that in a summary format

Customer :

for example out of all P114 codes it took us greater than 30 days to report their status of XF

Customer :

does that make sense?

The-PC-Guy :

so you want to comapre these pcode values

The-PC-Guy :

to the number of days

The-PC-Guy :

and basically just have a report

Customer :

yes

The-PC-Guy :

so if

The-PC-Guy :

p114

The-PC-Guy :

has -90

The-PC-Guy :

-60

The-PC-Guy :

-32

The-PC-Guy :

1

The-PC-Guy :

29

The-PC-Guy :

etc in column i

The-PC-Guy :

you would want me to list each number of days greter than 30

The-PC-Guy :

in column I

The-PC-Guy :

for each value in column C

The-PC-Guy :

or do we just want a count

The-PC-Guy :

for each value in column C

Customer :

for each value in column C and then a count

Customer :

id llike to understand how to do both

The-PC-Guy :

ok

The-PC-Guy :

let me see what I can come up with

Customer :

thank you

The-PC-Guy :

ok

The-PC-Guy :

a pivot table is not working

The-PC-Guy :

we will have to try this a different way

Customer :

ok

The-PC-Guy :

yes i found one that will work for you for the count

Customer :

awesome

The-PC-Guy :

at least this will give you an idea of how the formula works

The-PC-Guy :

and you can apply it to whatever you need

Customer :

excellent

The-PC-Guy :

the summary is on sheet 2

The-PC-Guy :

let me know if this is what you need

Customer :

darn, im having a hard time opening it

Customer :

im still in the network at my office so we have firewall that blocks a lot of sites and transferring of data...

Customer :

can you send it to my email address?

Customer :

that I provided in this website? or I can give to you now

The-PC-Guy :

they wont let us communcate by email

The-PC-Guy :

but

The-PC-Guy :

i can ask them to forward it to you

The-PC-Guy :

it may take a while

Customer :

ok

The-PC-Guy :

The only thing I ask is that when you get it and it works

The-PC-Guy :

that you come back and rate

The-PC-Guy :

so I get paid

The-PC-Guy :

if you need any changes

The-PC-Guy :

i can take care of that too

The-PC-Guy :

does that sound good?

The-PC-Guy :

The-PC-Guy :

Customer :

okay

The-PC-Guy :

i will step out of chat now to send the file to the customer service department

The-PC-Guy :

and they will forward it to you

Customer :

okay

Customer :

thank you

The-PC-Guy :

ok, let me know when you get the file

What happens now?

Expert:  The-PC-Guy replied 1 year ago.
I was just informed by the website admins that we can not forward the file to your email.

However I do have a way around that.

I will send you an offer for additional services, it will increase the price of the question by \$1, that is \$1 will be added to the total cost, there is no way around that increase, but that would allow us to communicate via email and such.

let me know what you want to do
Expert:  The-PC-Guy replied 1 year ago.
so what did you decide,

since there is no other way for me to get you the file.

Do you want to try this other meathod
