No, it was created by the PC Guy. I was very happy with it but when I went to copy and paste new data into it the summary number will not change. I tried refreshing it but it still wont update the total cell numbers to reflect 260 and 3 Converted in Column K. I will load it up for you.

The-PC-Guy :

Customer:

Tried the pivot table clear summary but it didn't update eventhough I corrected some cells with misspellings.

The-PC-Guy :

ok

The-PC-Guy :

i change the last cell in K column

The-PC-Guy :

and selected the pivot filter

The-PC-Guy :

and refreshed

The-PC-Guy :

and the change showed up

The-PC-Guy :

so I am not sure what you are getting at

The-PC-Guy :

would it be easier if a macro were created

to refresh the pivot table

The-PC-Guy :

when the workbook is opened

The-PC-Guy :

or have a command button

The-PC-Guy :

to do

The-PC-Guy :

or have the pivot table auto refresh

The-PC-Guy :

when any change is made in k column

Customer:

Is that something you could do?

The-PC-Guy :

i could

The-PC-Guy :

fairly easily

The-PC-Guy :

just tell me how you want it

The-PC-Guy :

to work

Customer:

I'll take the auto refresh.

The-PC-Guy :

so if any cell in K changes

The-PC-Guy :

it refreshes

The-PC-Guy :

give me a few minutes to do so

Customer:

Ok

The-PC-Guy :

seams to be working

Customer:

Ok.

The-PC-Guy :

here is the link

The-PC-Guy :

now any time you change a value in column K

The-PC-Guy :

the pivot will update

The-PC-Guy :

that includes

The-PC-Guy :

adding new values

The-PC-Guy :

or deleting

The-PC-Guy :

results?

Customer:

It still shows 4 Converted when there should be only 3 and it's pulling a blank 1 reading.

The-PC-Guy :

nothing can be done about the blanks unless you specify a range that doesn't include the blanks that the data comes from

Customer:

Ok, I'll find out where that is pulling from later. What about the Converted?

The-PC-Guy :

there are 4 converteds

The-PC-Guy :

i just counted them

Customer:

Just caught it and your Summary picked it up. You are great. Excellent rating coming your way again.

The-PC-Guy :

thanks

Customer:

Even if I build more than 260 cells will the pivot update maintain itself going forward?

The-PC-Guy :

yes

The-PC-Guy :

if you dont mind the blanks

Customer:

Great. No I don't.

Customer:

Good night PCG.
