Hi I have piles of old powerpoints created in and before 98 which I somehow cannot open in windows 2007 although I can see the little preview icon with correct data of the old ppt. Can you provide some solution to this ?

Thanks in advance
Thank you for your question, my name is Richard.

What you need to do is convert these to a version post 97.

To do this, use the free service on the link below

http://www.zamzar.com/

Upload your powerpoint file (you repeat this process for all your files) and convert it to a 97-2003 version.

Once you receive this version, you can then open it.

If you have any problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.

And if you can take a second to rate my service, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Richard I hate sites where you have to sign fill in piles of data and than get messages every day. Let us just forget it or give me your email I'll send the ppt file to you 0.4 M

You dont need to sign in, you just follow my instructions.

- Click the following link: http://www.wikisend.com

- Upload the file to that website by clicking the upload button

- Once it is uploaded, the resulting page will display a "File ID" number.
- Please, give me that "File ID Number"

There is NO login required.

Else email it [email protected] with ATTENTION RICHIEME in the subject. But that takes time to get to me, whereabouts wikisend is instant and requires NO login
