Long ago I bought the mcFredies-QUE book
"VBA for the 2007 Microsoft Office System".
Whith that information I brewed a macro to format any received word-doc to my own regular style:
margins, paragraphs, spacing, transform phrases-styling ...the lot.

However after a pc-crash I lost the initial macro-script. Neither by mood nor by time I dont feel like re-einventing that again.
Here my question:

I find many useful tips on excelltips.net but not at all so on wordtips.net

Q/ Where in the cloud can I find a more a general ready-to-use-base and then adaptable macro/macros?

Welcome to JustAnswer. My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will be assisting you today. Please do not rate this session until it has been completed.

JBryan42 :

There are a lot of examples right on the Microsoft site. You can check the "Samples" section on this page: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/fp123572.aspx

JBryan42 :

But my favorite place to find all type of discussion, samples, and help for all aspects of programming (VBA Word included) is http://stackoverflow.com/

JBryan42 :

I'll see what I can do to find you some more if you like, but those two are perfect in combination.

Bryan,

Customer:

2 quick remarks,

Customer:

at 1st sight link2 is totally beyon my level&scope,

Customer:

link1 lacks the in depth & scope of what I achieved with the lost vba-code.

Customer:

I am really not in the mood for rebebinning from scratch
Is there no vba-cdrom available with some type of quite-thourough reformatting-code

Customer:

availeble as a useble starting-point for further adaption?
Probably attached in one of the MS-Word books which I had, but lost the cdrom to friends...

Customer:

So, which (newest?) word-book contains a practical-vba-examples-set, which can

Customer:

speed-up and facilitate a decent general reformatting-docx-procedure ?
That aside of eventually other could-examples anywhere ... !?

Customer:

JBryan42 :

Oh yeah, there are plenty of books. Let me skim through a few of mine to see what would work well for you.

JBryan42 :

hmmm ... looks like most of my books are geared towards Excel as well. But how about this link for examples: http://www.thezcorp.com/VBACodeSamples.aspx

JBryan42 :

ahhh ... or here's another good one: http://word.mvps.org/

JBryan42 :

And here is a link list to several different sites with code examples: http://shaunakelly.com/word/word-development/resources-for-word-vba.html

JBryan42 :

Let me know if you need anything else
