Richard, in continuing the ongoing project with Excel 2007. I have the proper code for opening a specific excel file on my server. What I would like to know now, is when I click on the button, can the file be opened in a smaller (minimized, specific size) window? Instead of full size?

Thank you for your question, my name is Richard.

Thank you again for your question

You need to use this code to open it minimized

Dim xl0 As New Excel.Application
xl0.Visible = False
xl0.Workbooks.Open "c:\myexcelfile.xls"
xl0.WindowState = xlMinimized
xl0.Visible = True

You change "c:\myexcelfile.xls" to be to the path of your file.

If you have any difficulties at all, please do not hesitate to let me know so I can assist you further

Thank you

Richard, to clarify the question, within the following code, where would I insert your response?

Sub Button158_Click()

Dim stFolder As String

stFolder = "\\VICTORYSRV1\Share\Awning Images\Canvas_Sign Band.xlt"

Shell "Explorer.exe /n,/e," & stFolder, vbNormalFocus

End Sub

ok, your going to need to change the way the code works, as this is a different requirement.

Let me do it direct on the file.

- Click the following link: http://www.wikisend.com
- Upload the file to that website
- Once it is uploaded, the resulting page will display a "File ID" number.
- Please, give me that "File ID Number"

Thank you

File ID 172842

Thanks

You can download it #907702

I did the code in 158.

Just reuse that and change the path on each button to the file you wish.

If you have any difficulties at all, please do not hesitate to let me know so I can assist you further

Thank you
