You should be able to select the two columns by clicking and dragging on the column header

then click the Home ribbon button, and the Sort & filter icon (looks like a funnel)

then choose custom sort

and choose the column you want sorted, then choose descending order

this should keep the items from column 1 with its matching item from column 2

Hi Zac. Thanks for requesting meWhat you need to do is Sort "rows" instead of "columns". You do that by selecting your table, then from the Ribbon click Data > Sort, then click the Options button, choose "Sort Left to Right", click OK, then in the 'Sort By' first field chose the row that has the numbers that need to be sorted (e.g. row 2), then choose "Largest to Smallest" from the Order field, and click OK.That should do it.
