Hello! Thank you for your question. I am a licensed computer professional with over ten years of experience, and I will be assisting you today.

I'm sorry about the issue. Do you have Office 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, etc.?

Do you have windows xp, vista, or 7, or 8?

Can we do a screen sharing session, so I can check and fix this issue directly for you?

Please let me know. Thank you
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Windows 7, Office 2010 which came with Toshiba satellite laptop, yes we can share screen.

Expert:  Viet -MS Office Tech replied 3 years ago.

unable to connect to remote access. What can I do?

Expert:  Viet -MS Office Tech replied 3 years ago.
I'm sorry, can you go to that website in Internet Explorer (the big 'e' program icon), not Firefox, or Chrome, etc.?

http://67.192.95.188:8040/?Session=4ec86eac-fbc7-4870-a861-17ec72d72c2a&SUPPORT=JAVAW

, or go to that shorter website link below in Internet Explorer, and allow it to run:

http://tinyurl.com/mpsl2hd

, and try any other option it gives you as needed. Thank you
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

none of that is working for me.

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

tried the above, none are working for me.

Expert:  Viet -MS Office Tech replied 3 years ago.
I'm sorry, what exactly happens when you go to the website http://tinyurl.com/mpsl2hd in Internet Explorer? What does it show on that website?

How long have you been using Office 2010 on this computer?

Do you still have the office 2010 product key (not the windows product key)?

What edition of Microsoft office is it, such as Starter, or Home & Student, or Professional, etc.?

Please let me know. Thank you.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Starter and was in laptop when purchased. There is no product key. Have used Starter since purchase of laptop. Program worked fine until yesterday. Could not access.

Expert:  Viet -MS Office Tech replied 3 years ago.
I'm sorry, since you've already tried to restore/uninstall/reinstall, but it did not work, then we would need to reset/format the laptop, but that can take lots of work.

However, since Microsoft Office Starter version is limited (compare to the Microsoft Office full version), would you like me to provide you a similar and free full Office suite program you can use?

Please let me know. Thank you
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I registered for the Office 365, 30 day free trial after office 2010 could not be accessed. That would not download. Do I have to go back and start from beginning? Been at this since 9 am and at the end of the road trying.

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

what is the free full office suite program. What will happen to the documents stored in office 2010?

Expert:  Viet -MS Office Tech replied 3 years ago.
You can try to uninstall office 2010, and try to download office 365 trial version again, but then you would have to pay after 30 days.

Here is a better option: first, uninstall office 2010, then download and install the free Open Office program:

http://openoffice.org/

, then you can use Open Office program, and it will also let you view/edit all your current office documents also, so everything will be fine.

Please let me know if there is still any issue. Thank you.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

This response has not resolved my issue. So, I will have to bite the bullet and reboot. Thank you for your suggestions but the problem remains.

Expert:  Viet -MS Office Tech replied 3 years ago.

Don't worry, I will continue to help until you are able to view/edit/create documents. Don't try to reboot/reset the laptop as it will take a lot of work (i.e., you would need to back up your files, then reinstall windows, then reinstall many of your programs.) Reboot/reset is the last option, so we would try all possible ways first.

Did you try my suggestion to download and install the Open Office program per my previous suggestion yet?

Please let me know; we guarantee our service. Thank you

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

no, i'm exhausted. Why can't you access my computer? is there another way for u to do that? and why can't Java be downloaded to access remote? What is going on?

Expert:  Viet -MS Office Tech replied 3 years ago.

I'm really sorry. Are you using Internet Explorer (the big 'e' program icon)? I really want to connect to your computer, as that would be easier for me to help, but I'm not sure why your computer blocks me from accessing it.

Can you just download and install Open Office program at the website below? It should be easy to download and install:

http://www.openoffice.org/download/

We can continue another time whenever you'd like to. Thank you

Expert:  Viet -MS Office Tech replied 3 years ago.

Did you actually try my suggestion/solution yet before rating my service? I know it will work if you try my solution to download and install the free Open Office program at the website http://www.openoffice.org/
