using word 10, spell check is not working

Thank you for your question, my name is Richard.

This can occur when the settings within Word become corrupted.

I would like you to reset these please.

To do this, please close word and go to the below link

Click FIX IT on the page and run the file to reset word.

Then restart the computer and check if the spell checker is now working.

What exactly happens when you try to run the spell check?

it tells me the spell is ok everytime. I purposely put mispelled words in doc and it still says all is ok

Can you do the following please

Open Word.
Click the File tab.
Click Options.
Click Language.
In the Set the Office Language Preferences dialog box, under Choose Editing Languages, select English and click Set as Default.

Restart the computer and then try to Spell check.

did as said, Office language preference was English as defaul, and I could not select the select button agian

Can I log on and look please on the connected computer?

It will download a program to your computer

Run the program and click Share

Give me the numbers at the top of the screen (eg: 456-789-123)
