JACUSTOMER-wanc6brd- :

With some problems with the address(for microsoft a/c). and contact with microsoft I have successfuly re-installed the Fix It program.Problems mostly due to my ignorance and fear of upsetting my own e-mail address. They do not make it easy for the amature computeruser.I now have my own address (hopefully) plus a microsoft address plus an alias and maybe a bit of good luck.

JACUSTOMER-wanc6brd- :

re-installation led me ,eventually. to a Microsoft contact website where the problem I had with registration of new addresses was sorted out.(see above). As this was in "chat" form I was able to ask a series of questions to arrive at the final answer.Better understanding by me of the computer instructions, would have saved all this. Thanks again for your input.
