Hi,
I'm a moderator for this topic. I've been working hard to find a Professional to assist you with your Microsoft, but sometimes finding the right Professional can take a little longer than expected.

Thank you for your question, my name is Richard.

Did you save it as a xlsm or xlsx file?

I fear you saved it as a xlsx file which will not allow the Macro and strips it from the file.

you have to save the file as a XLSM (Macro Enabled Excel File) else it removes the Macros from the file for security

If you have done this, there is no way to get it back (as it does not save it, just removes it)

If you have problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.

And if you can take a second to rate my service, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Followup, what happens if I saved it to personal macro workbook next time?

how do you mean a personal macro workbook sorry?

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

When I create the macro, it asks me if I want to save it in this workbook or personal macro workbook.

ok, thanks

You can save it to either.

personal macro workbook is just if you want to reuse Macros a lot.

But they will need to be referenced (as they are then not in the sheet)

And you need to save them as xlsm still

If you have problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.
