Hi I would love to know how can I convert Word 2010 form

I would love to know how can I convert Word 2010 form fields to text fields?

I want to make medical notes using combo form fields in Word 2010.

After using the form I want to convert the form fields to plain text.

I need to do this because my medical notes must become plain text after I have used the form.

I have used the previous forms in Word 2003 and could do this by using control-shift-F9.

I have tried to do this in Word 2010 but it doesn’t work.

I would be most grateful for your advice.

Thank you for your question, my name is Richard.

Can I look at the way you have setup the file please?

- Click the following link:
- Upload the file to that website
- Once it is uploaded, the resulting page will display a "File ID" number.
- Please, give me that "File ID Number"

Thank you

The File ID number is 263778

I see it, but when you make a selection it is Plan Text.

This is the way Word 2010 operates with the Combo Box.

Can you tell me exactly how this is creating a difficulty?

I am a doctor and dont want anyone to inadvertently be able to click the menu and change it after I have made a choice. So I want the menu to no longer be present and for it to just be plain text without drop down menus.

This was available in Word 2003 by using control;shift;F9 but i cant find out how to do it in Word 2010.

you right click on the Control and select Remove Content Control

this removes the control and just leaves the text.

Let me know if you have any difficulties please
