Customer Question

Good day,
I've looked through several forums and pertinent threads but can't seem to find an agreed-upon solution for this task:

Return: sheet_name, file_name, fullfilepath_name

For all excel files containing a specified string. String doesn't have to be a full match -- e.g., A search for "world, my name" would include in the results a file that has, in one of its multiple worksheets, a cell with the text string "Hello world, my name is Katherine!"

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide!

Hello, my name is XXXXX XXXXX I'll try to help you with your Excel issue.

So you need to search multiple files for text in a cell correct?

Expert:  ITGuyDave replied 3 years ago.
Try this program. It's free, and has some good reviews.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

This didn't work. I tried searching text strings that I knew were contained in excel cells of files and got no search results.

Other ideas?
