I will do my best to help with your question
It's possible to delete letterhead (usually known as header of page) on second page
Do you use Word 2007 or 2010?
I am using Word 2007. Have just gone back to my document and successfully removed the header! I completely forgot that this would have been created as a header!!
Thank you very much.
If you remove it on second page, does it stay on first?
Let me know if you need anything else, I would be glad to help. Please don't forget to rate my answer if you were satisfied
Yes! Somehow I have to keep front page!
Ok. If it's staying on first page then it's ok
Oops! I meant to say header was removed from all pages.
Ok. Please do this
open Page Layout tab
under Page Setup
to the right of Page Setup text click on down arrow
Please check the page above
In Page Setup window under Layout tab please place a checkmark on "Different first page" under Headers and Footers
then press OK
Lost the header - which is good. But it has become the first page, and the header page is now second.
You have to experiment a little bit, but this the only options that exist for the question you asked
Open new document
then write to get to second page
then remove the header from 2nd page and it should leave it just on first
please try this
under new document I meant your template document
OK I've just re-ordered them in two-page view! Can I reset the size of the header on the blank page without changing the graphic header as it is quite a deep header and I need space on blank page.
just once when you are in edit header mode
pull down the ruler to the right down or up
to change the header size
you will be moving the line that makes edge between header and body of text
I am afraid header must the same size on both pages
OK I've just discovered that!!! So will have to work around that somehow.
Many thanks for your patience and help.
Not a problem. I am glad I was able to help
Thank you again
