Create a Cell (lets call it A1) with format Time : hh:mm

Create another cell next to it (or anywhere) with formula : {A1}*1440
The format of this cell should be numbers with no decimals.

Hi,

I am working on a spreadsheet which records the following data:

degrees; minutes; seconds

I use a separate cell to record each piece of data and then I need to create a formula to convert the minutes & seconds to degrees and add up the three columns

Hi,

In your question you have mentioned "How do I format a cell to record minutes only"

Are you done with that question ?
