How do I round a column of different Dollar amounts (example $429.65) up or down to the nearest dollar amount (example $430.00)?
Thank you,
Howard

Hi again

If the number is XXXXX A2, use this formula to round to the nearest whole number

=ROUND (A2,0)

and make sure the cell that has the formula is formatted to Number with 2 decimal places

Hope this helps

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

Can I do more than one cell at a time? Can I round a whole column?

Example:

D

$1,989.75
$2,940.00
3669.75
$2,940.00
4593.75
5066.25
4593.75
2934.75
2514.75
1989.75

Yes, if the first value is in cell A2 and the last cell is in A100, place the formula that I gave you in B2, then use Fill Down or just drag it down through to cell B100

Ok?

If you can't find Fill Down just copy cell B2 and paste it into B2:B100

Or

select B2:B100 and press the CTRL + D keys
