I JUST DELETED A FILE OFF OF A ZIP DRIVE IN ERROR. I CLICKED THE WRONG ONE.

HOW CAN I RECOVER IT?

Thank you for that information.

There is a tool that is free for home users that you an use to scan for deleted files in your external drive.

Please click on this link then download Recuva. After downloading, install it then allow it to SCAN your external drives including the zip drive to detect deleted files. From there you can then recover the file that you deleted in error.

this is a company computer and the down load will not run due to security.

I suggest that you contact your system administrator or computer in charge so that he can allow you to download the tool.

Another way is to use another compute to download the tool then run it in your computer where the external/zip drive is attached.

From there you can recover the file deleted in error.
