yegarboy :

Hi and Welcome to JA!

yegarboy :

In order to solve this I will need to see the workbook.

yegarboy :

You can upload it to me here. www.wikisend.com. After upload give me the File ID or download link :)

yegarboy :

Just reply to this chat when you are ready to begin and I will join you soon after.

Customer:

It's asking me to "sign in". I uploaded, but it's asking me for a FILE ID that I don't see.The template has the data showing when the problem began. Go to the very bottom of the sheet to the "SUBMIT" button and click, and the Error 400 msg appears.

Customer:

I can't sign in. no password

Customer:

Where do I find the File ID?

yegarboy :

Theres no need to sign up its Free :) Click the Browse button and locate your file. Then click Upload. It will direct you to the Download page. At the top left of the Download page it says File ID. its a 6 digit number. Copy and paste it here :)

yegarboy :

Customer:

Lost the page. Have to try again. There was no file ID that I saw.

Customer:

yegarboy :

Just a few minutes while I look at the file

yegarboy :

Where can I find the Error?

Customer:

You may have to "enable macros" at the top

Customer:

Instruction above.

Customer:

Go to very bottom of template to "SUBMIT" button, click, and error msg appears

yegarboy :

Ok thanks

Customer:

I had input 5 entries already with no problem of this kind.

yegarboy :

Whats the password XXXXX unprotect the sheet?

Customer:

Amex has that I guess, not me.

yegarboy :

ok

Customer:

I get the template from them. Or is something else happening? Is the sheet picking up a password XXXXX my computer?

yegarboy :

I found it :)

Customer:

Great ! Can you pass that along to me??

yegarboy :

vivardhan

Customer:

thankts

Customer:

Did the error msg appear for you?

yegarboy :

I found the error is due to the named ranges

yegarboy :

I am narrowing it down now :)

Customer:

I guess that's a lot to narrow

yegarboy :

Ok i got it

yegarboy :

These two Named Ranges are no longer valid.

Customer:

No, it got me :)

yegarboy :

'ElseIf Range("PONo") = "" Then
'MsgBox ("The PO No or DA No is required. Please input information")
'Range("PONo").Select
'Exit Sub
'ElseIf Range("Invoiceno") = "" Then
'MsgBox ("The Invoice No is required. Please input information")
'Range("Invoiceno").Select
'Exit Sub

yegarboy :

They dont exist

yegarboy :

Rename them to the proper names and your set :)

Customer:

uhm... what do I do with that info?

yegarboy :

Ohh lol. Its just error checking.. I can simply remove them and it will work fine :)

Customer:

I'm new at this. thanks.

yegarboy :

Thats ok,

Customer:

Where do I "go" to "rename" these cells?

yegarboy :

Im uploading the finished workbook now :)

yegarboy :

To access the code. Press Alt + F11

yegarboy :

Then select the Input Page

yegarboy :

On the actual Input page name the Ranges then rename the Ranges in the VBA editor

yegarboy :

After looking at the workbook Im not sure those 2 ranges would be missed,

Customer:

do I copy/paste the link?

yegarboy :

You can click it.

yegarboy :

Try it out and make sure it works right. :)

Customer:
