Hi, my laptop has started telling me I dont have permission

Customer Question

Hi,

my laptop has started telling me I don't have permission to open various folders and files (including control panel).

I've tried right clicking on the file and updating the permissions for that file and get a message telling me that access is denied to perform this action.

I've tried running my laptop as an admin, but the cmd box tells me that the user doesn't exist.

There is only one account on the laptop.

Please help!

Nikki
