Hi, welcome and thank you for your question. My name is XXXX XXX I am glad to assist you today.

I am sorry to hear that you have this problem with your Hotmail account. First, please try to RESET your account password XX going to the following link:

http://account.live.com/password/reset

Once you are in the page, please click to select the "I forgot my password" option/link. Then click Reset your password. Then follow the on-screen instructions to reset your password.

If that method does not work, then try Account Recovery instead. Please follow these steps to recover your Hotmail account.

Please go to http://tinyurl.com/3muhuxr
(This link will open in a new window)

This page is intended for those who have had their Hotmail account compromised and/or who are unable to access their alternate e-mail or answer their security question.

Type in the Hotmail e-mail address you want to recover (the problem/compromised Hotmail account) in the first blank on that page. Then in the second text box, type an alternate and working e-mail address that you can currently access. (This does not have to be a Hotmail email as well. Just any email address where you can be contacted). If you don't have an alternate e-mail address, you can sign up for a free one with Yahoo Mail, or Gmail.

Then click Continue.

Then please fill out as much information that you can provide. Though some of the information is optional, however, the more fields you enter with accurately (compared to your actual data submitted when you created the Hotmail account), the better are your chances of getting your account back.

As long as you provide other details that prove that you are indeed the owner of the account, they will generally have no problem sending you account reset information so that you can get back into your e-mail.

At the end of that form, click Continue.

At this point, you will see a new page with a PIN number on it. You need that PIN to access a forum. Write this PIN down! Confirm on the next page that you got the PIN. Also, this is important, bookmark the page showing the PIN. To bookmark, click Favorites => Add to Favorites. When you want to contact the support agent from hotmail, you just need to revisit the page and then click the button Contact support. But you must give Hotmail some time like 24 hours before clicking the Contact... button in the page where the PIN is shown. At this time interval, Hotmail is validating the information you have submitted.

You will then get an email with a link to a private forum. The forum will be unlocked by your PIN. An Account Specialist will provide instructions to reset your password XX that forum.

I hope that helped. Keep me posted with your results so that I can help you further. If you have further question, please use the Continue the Conversation tab to reply to me.

Best regards,
Jess
