Cannot open microsoft Excel Starter 2010. When processing

Cannot open microsoft Excel Starter 2010. When processing tells me there is a problem sending command to the program? A window appears with message 'elevation required'
error 462582-00503235-000002E4. Can you please help me with this issue?

 



Already Tried:
Have spoken with person I bought computer from and have been told to contact microsoft to explain this problem.

First, is your computer using Windows XP Vista or 7?

Please go to Computer or My Computer. Go to C:

Go to Program Files

SVITExperts :

Then Microsoft Office

SVITExperts :

Go to Office 14

SVITExperts :

In this Office14 folder, look for Excel.exe

using windows 7.

Please go to Computer

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14

RIGHT CLICK on EXCEL.exe and select Properties

SVITExperts :

Select Compatibility tab

SVITExperts :

Check the box "Run this program as administrator"

Click OK and close it.

SVITExperts :

Then try to run Excel again

See if you have the same error

dont seem to have excel.exe in office 14?

Do you have an Excel shortcut on desktop?

If yes, RIGHT CLICK on that shortcut and select Properties

Go to Shortcut tab and click Open File Location

Did you find the excel.exe file?

no I do not have excel shortcut on desktop?

Then how do open Excel starter?

just go into a file and open up a excel doc.

I can asked to activate or purchase microsoft office?

It asks you to active or purchase key?

When you buy the computer, did the seller give you any key for MS Office?

If not, probably it came with the STARTER but needs to be activated
