Today is my last day at work. I noticed when I went into word there were a lot of recent documents there and I could open them up. But I could not figure out how to delete them same problem with excel. I need to get ride of these documen...

Hi

 

In Word 2007, click the Office button > Word Options button > Advanced tab, then under the Display section, change the number next to "Show this number of Recent documents" to 0. Click OK

I was unable to change the number to o in word or in excel. I received an error message that read: The server draft location you entered for offline editing is not valid or you do not have permission to access that location. Specify a location on your computer

Close all files and application, then launch Word from your computer hard drive not the server, then follow the instructions that I gave you
