Options for Word 2007 can be found by clicking the Office Button in the upper left of Word

JACUSTOMER-83mccr04- :

from the menu that you get when clicking the office button, you should see an option "Word Options"

JACUSTOMER-83mccr04- :

I am going to assume you are trying to find the backup file of your document. That is if "Always create backup copy" is on within Word

Hi Ivor,

No need to apologize on lasting the pace. I completely understand. I only asked what version of Windows you were using and hoping it would be Vista or 7. Those versions have a "previous version" feature that allows a user to bring back a previous state version of a file.

Unfortunately, Windows Xp does not offer such a feature. You never mentioned how you lost the couple pages, so I am assuming you saved over top of the file after removing them? (just guessing that is what happened)

Anyways, if that is the case, there isn't much you can do to get that file back in the state that it was in. Believe it or not, you would have a higher percentage chance of recovering the pages if the file were deleted and not saved over (if that is how you lost the few pages).

Sorry I do not have better news for you. I know the feeling as I have been there myself.
