Have you closed and reopened outlook after making the above change and also does new email send out properly now. Please be sure to answer both questions. Thanks.

To confirm though you did follow the steps i listed above. Next let's close outlook and then reopen it. if the message is still in the outbox let's delete it (if thats ok, it will be permanently gone) then lets try to send another new email. let me know what error you receive if any.

ok, so the original 17092 error has been cleared?

I'll need a few more minutes to research he new issue.

Customer replied 286 days and 10 hours ago.

It has not been put right yet, emails come in OK but will not send any at all.

Not a problem, i'll continue to work on this, just wanted to see if the first error message was removed so we can move through the troubleshooting process.

I see there is some correlation between safari and the exact issue you are having. from your mac please go to the below link and install the latest safari version. You'll just need to click download after clicking on the below link

Please close outlook before doing this, once installed reopen outlook and try sending a new email.

no let's not change incoming settings since they are working. but let's try changing the outgoing to the same Mail.btinternet.com then save and test sending again

in your email address what does it say after the @ symbol

Customer replied 286 days and 9 hours ago.
