ITPeter : Hello,
ITPeter : What happens when you try to open MS Office 2010?
ITPeter : Do you get any error message?
JACUSTOMER-ti2d3skm- :

Nothing happens, it appears to try and open, but nothing appears, no error messages, nothing

ITPeter : Have you restarted the computer since the problem first occurred?
JACUSTOMER-ti2d3skm- :

No I haven't

ITPeter : Ok, please try that.
ITPeter : Usually when Office won't open, it is due to a conflict which can be resolved by restarting the computer.
JACUSTOMER-ti2d3skm- :

How do I get back to you if I close the computer down?

If the restart did not solve your problem, you will need to try repairing Office next.

To repair Office 2010:
Click Start, then click Control Panel.
Click Programs and Features.
Click the Office 2010 program that you want to repair, then click Change.
Click Repair, then click Continue. You might need to restart your computer after the repair is complete.
