Need assistance with a word formatting issue

HandyDan217 :

Hello! Can you tell me more details about what type of issue you are having?

Customer:

I added several periods at the end of a section in my paper and then hit return. Became a solid bulleted line across the whole page. Now I can't get rid of the line. It moves up and down my paper as a I try and delete it. I thought it might have something to do with track changes but can't seem to find the problem.

HandyDan217 :

ok. What version of Word are you using?

Customer:

2007

HandyDan217 :

Ok. first place your cursor directly above the border line. Then select the button in the primary ribbon bar that looks like four little squares (This is the border control button). It will produce a drop down menu and you can choose "No Borders" to remove the line.

Customer:

let me try ok

Customer:

where is the primary ribbon bar? sorry.

HandyDan217 :

I took a picture of the button i'm talking about in case you have trouble finding it.

HandyDan217 :
